Why buy from Polybags Direct?

Polybags Direct have traded on the internet for some time. We have an excellent reputation for service and support.

Polybags Direct is UK based. We are located near the heart of England, Leicester. We have good motorway links to the rest of the UK. All items listed on the internet are stock items and available for immediate dispatch.

All orders received before 6pm * will be dispatched on the same day, orders after this time will be dispatched the following day.

Full receipt of payment must be completed for goods are dispatched.

When was Polybags Direct established?

Polybags Direct have been manufacturing packaging products from our Leicester factory. In 2007 Polybags Direct launched it's main website.

What if an item I want is not on the web site?

Polybags Direct lists stock items on the website. However we have contacts in the UK and abroad and are able to source most products. We are able to manufacture bespoke poly bags. However manufacturing requires larger orders quantities (more than 10,000 items) and a longer lead time (more than 2 weeks).

Do you have a privacy policy?

Why do you charge for shipping?

Shipping is a necessary cost. We use DPD as our main carrier and are able to offer a competitive price on shipping packaging products (which are heavy and bulky goods). Please click on the following link to view our shipping and freight policy: delivery policy 2024.

Shipping rates are determined by the weight and size of your items. Most of the time your order will receive the exact shipping amount at check out time. You can see your delivery charges in the cart and it will automatically update as you add items. Read our shipping and freight policy to see how the weight of the order determines shipping cost.

Are our bags food safe?

Do you ship internationally?

We ship throughout the United Kingdom as standard. All shipping prices on the websiterefer to UK shipping. Order can be shipped ship overseas. Please contact us to confirm oversea shipping costs. It usually takes 3 to 5 days to reach oversea locations. Extra carriage charges may apply which must be paid upfront using our bespoke payment page.

When can I expect my order to be shipped?

Polybags Direct is quick. Orders received by 6pm * Monday through Friday will be shipped the same day. We will send you a confirmation of your order once this has been placed to let you know we have received it and are ready to start picking and packing your package. We will also send you a second email to let you know when your order has been dispatched.

Do you have a catalog I can request?

Will I get an invoice when ordering online?

Yes. You will receive an invoice in the delivered package.

Do you offer quotes?

Yes. If you are ordering large quantities then bespoke quotes can be offered. Please contact our sales department for a quote at .

Who pays for returning a damaged or defective item?

If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No. You may purchase just one item or as many as you like! The more you buy, the bigger the discount.

How accurate are the product images?

We make every effort to ensure that the product images we use are accurate and up to date. We endeavour to ensure that all images are as close to the true colour as possible, however we cannot guarantee the colour representation is exact. There can sometimes be shade variations between different batches. There can also be variations when viewing on different monitors/screens depending on the settings etc. If shade is critical, please ask for a sample.

What if I want to make a change to my order?

We are often very quick at picking and packing your orders so there will only be a short amount of time after you place your order where we will be able to amend it. Call us straight away on 01162 221 723 and we will do our best to help.

Do you offer a discount for bulk purchases?

Yes. The more you buy the more you save. Whilst we are happy to take small orders, we offer reduced prices when purchasing items in larger quantities.
