All orders received before 6pm * will be dispatched on the same day, orders after this time will be dispatched the following day.

Is it safe to buy online?
Polybags Direct treats your online security with the utmost importance. We have worked hard with our partners at Starfield Certification Authority to offer you maximum security and peace of mind when shopping. If you look up at the web address of our checkout you will notice that it begins with https://. This shows that your transaction is taking place on a Secure Server and that all information sent between your browser and our server is totally encrypted.

Polybags Direct uses PayPal's Payment Processing Provider (see paypal.co.uk). When it comes to making your payment we transfer you to PayPal's Payment Processing Provider. This ensures we do not directly come in to contact with your credit card details. We have no knowledge of these and the details are not stored on our servers at all. PayPal's Payment Processing Provider is PCI DSS compliant (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). This is the toughest industry standard for online payments and means your payments to us can be made safe and secure.

When was Polybags Direct established?
Since 1983 Polybags Direct have been manufacturing packaging products from our factory.
In the summer of 2001 Polybags Direct launched it's main website.
What if an item I want is not on the web site?
Polybags Direct lists stock items on the website.
However we have contacts in the UK and abroad and are able to source most products.
If an item you require is not listed on the website give us a call on 01162 221 723 and we will source it for you and add it to the website.
How do I look without buying?
You can browse the website without buying any products.
Click on the navigation menu to browse through our products.
You can check the prices price of item combined with their shipping cost.
Print out items in the shopping cart for future reference.
The only way you will enter our PayPal secure payment server is if you press the Checkout button.
No credit card details are required until you are sure you want to purchase.

Why do you charge for shipping?
Shipping is a necessary cost. We use DPD as our main carrier and are able to offer a competitive price on shipping packaging products (which are heavy and bulky goods). Please click on the following link to view our shipping and freight policy: delivery policy 2021.
Shipping rates are determined by the weight and size of your items. Most of the time your order will receive the exact shipping amount at check out time. You can see your delivery charges in the cart and it will automatically update as you add items. Read our shipping and freight policy to see how the weight of the order determines shipping cost.

When can I expect my order to be shipped?
Polybags Direct is quick.
Orders received by 6pm * Monday through Friday will be shipped the same day.

Do you have a catalog I can request?
Will I get an invoice when ordering online?
Yes. You will receive an invoice in the delivered package.
Do you offer quotes?
Is ordering from your website easy?
Yes. Each product has a "Buy" link. Clicking on this link will add the product to your shopping cart. Repeat this process to add more units to your shopping cart.
Click the "Checkout" button on the shopping cart and you will be taken to the PayPal's secure payments website. Here you can confirm that the items you ordered are correct.
Complete the payment by either entering your credit card details. If you have a PayPal account simply login and complete the transaction.
Your credit card number is processed by PayPal's secure e-commerce server and never revealed to us.
All online orders will be followed by e-mail confirmation so that you can be sure that everything went smoothly.
Who pays for returning a damaged or defective item?
If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product.
You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement shipments.
